Studies from several reputable universities have been conducted and their results are quite interesting. It turns out in most cases, your sleeping patterns are directly related to your personality traits.
Fetal Position
The fetal position is one of the most popular sleeping positions.People who sleep in the fetal position tend to have a tough exterior, but a soft, shy sensitive side to them.
Soldier-Starfish Hybrid
These people tend to be very flexible emotionally. They go with the flow, and avoid confrontations which can make them easily persuaded by others.
Soldier Position
Only 8% of people sleep in the soldier position. These types of people tend to be well structured, serious individuals who like order. The soldier position also indicates these people have very high standards of themselves and those around them.
Yearner Position
Only about 13% of people sleep in the yearner position. People who sleep in the yearner position tend to be very open and inviting, but suspicious of others and even cynical at times.
Pillow Hugger Position
If you sleep in the pillow hugger position, chances are you are a real people person. You put other peoples needs ahead of your own. You tend to have well established relationships with your friends and also your lovers.
Freefall Position
7% of the population prefers the freefall sleeping position. These people have tendencies of being very free spirited, nervous on the inside and can be over sensitive at times.
Starfish Position
5% of the population prefers the starfish sleeping position. These people have lots of friends, in fact they put their friends number one in their lives. They value their relationships and will go out of their way to help others.
Log Position
A surprising 15% of people sleep in the log position. If you sleep in the log position you might be a very trustworthy person who is engaging towards others yet at times very gullible.
